Casa Elena è un appartamento accuratamente restaurato e arredato con mobili di pregio, parte di un'antica villa del XVII secolo con archi e colonne. Le ampie terrazze sul mare sono il punto forte della villa: una di queste gode di una vasca idromassaggio riscaldata, con vista sul mare. La posizione è strategica: la fermata dell'autobus è proprio di fronte e i migliori ristoranti sono a pochi metri di distanza.
La proprietà è organizzata su due livelli:
PRIMO PIANO include:
• Ampia terrazza, vista mare, con tavolo e sedie per sei, sedie a sdraio, barbecue, doccia esterna e vasca idromassaggio riscaldata ( aperta tutto l'anno) N.B. la piscina ha bisogno di circa 24 ore per riscaldarsi.
• Patio panoramico, accessibile da ogni camera da letto e zona living con tavolo e panche per mangiare all'aperto
• Ampio soggiorno e zona pranzo, con divano letto doppio (160x190)
• Cucina con lavastoviglie - non abitabile

La casa è facilmente accessibile, con circa 35 gradini dalla strada principale; include un parcheggio recintato (a pagamento) collegato alla proprietà.

Our stay at Casa Elena could not have been more perfect. Starting with our communication with Anna, whose patience and prompt responses when dealing with our 2 year COVID postponements was admirable, to Francesco, who was waiting at the villa for our arrival. He checked in with us regularly over our 12 day stay, providing any support and answers that we needed. As for the villa itself, an incredible view from both the veranda and the garden area, nothing but the sea! The location in Praiano is perfect, a charming, quiet and friendly area that was a perfect respite from our day trips to the busier areas along the Amalfi Coast. The local and Sita buses were easily accessed, and a car was not needed, not that there was anywhere to park in the busier towns. Lots of excellent restaurants, and a market just down the road made us glad we chose SMAAC and Casa Elena for our Italy trip.

A couple of helpful points I wish we'd have known: If you are not comfortable with stairs/hills, think twice about booking if you expect to get anywhere on foot. There is a beautiful beach and restaurant down by the water below but there are around 400 stairs and a steep hill to navigate both ways. Parking is 30 euros a day A taxi to Positano will be around 60 euros (each way!) for a 5 mile journey, get a buswater taxi. Kasai restaurant (250m away) is amazing. The Path of the Gods hike is right on the doorstep (just head up the stairs when you get out on the street) and is absolutely stunning.

Siempre contestando a tiempo nuestras preguntas. Algo que ayudó mucho es que tienen una página de internet donde explican todo lo de la casa y las amenidades de la zona como restaurantes y tiendas de comida. Cerca de la casa hay restaurantes y tiendas de comida. Mi familia y yo disfrutamos mucho nuestra estancia en Praiano.

The views from the terrace were breathtaking, offering stunning panoramas of the coast that we enjoyed every day. The villa itself was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare several delicious meals during our stay. The location was ideal, providing a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to local attractions and restaurants. A special shoutout to Francesco from SMAAC, who was our main contact. Francesco was excellent, answering all of our questions promptly and making the entire rental process incredibly smooth. His local recommendations were spot on and added so much to our trip. We can't recommend Casa Elena enough and are already dreaming of our next visit.

The host was very friendly and easy to communicate with, they were very proactive and helping us find the location and get settled. It was very convenient to be able to park the car right on the property. The only possible negative is that it is a bit removed from all of the action. It’s very quiet and peaceful, and there were twothree restaurants in walking distance that we found. Otherwise, we had to take the car to go to any nearby attractions. Overall a very nice stay!

(Turn right off Road After furore sign ) Hire Mopeds next door and explore, go early before it gets too busy and too hot. 8.30 start is perfect.

Duomo (church) right above it is a place of activities (orchestra, opera signing) during weekends. Fireworks on Sunday was a nice touch. Staff is responsive. All in all, we had a great time in there.

Starting with our communication with Anna, whose patience and prompt responses when dealing with our 2 year COVID postponements was admirable, to Francesco, who was waiting at the villa for our arrival. He checked in with us regularly over our 12 day stay, providing any support and answers that we needed. As for the villa itself, an incredible view from both the veranda and the garden area, nothing but the sea! The location in Praiano is perfect, a charming, quiet and friendly area that was a perfect respite from our day trips to the busier areas along the Amalfi Coast. The local and Sita buses were easily accessed, and a car was not needed, not that there was anywhere to park in the busier towns. Lots of excellent restaurants, and a market just down the road made us glad we chose SMAAC and Casa Elena for our Italy trip.

He helped me book many activities months in advance and always replied to any questions in a very timely manner with the most patience. The location was very good as you have 4 highly rated restaurants, 2 markets, Vespa rentals and a laundry service within a 4 minute walk. It’s a peaceful oasis in the otherwise overly-crowded Amalfi coast. The host (Francesco) responded within minutes to whatever we needed and was proactive either communications and instructions. We would recommend Casa Elena to anyone!

The hot tub was a nice touch, but not as warm as expected, probably perfect for when the weather is warm. We had a toddler and baby. The upstairs bedroom was a bit difficult for a toddler to manage the climb and steps, more suitable for adultsolder children. Overall, we had a really nice stay. Thanks to everyone and especially Carmen for dealing with our group and our many requests.

View is excellent, with a large balcony with excellent views of the ocean.
The rooms are big. Garden was nice with a hot tub that the kids enjoyed
It was really hot while we were there, all the rooms have air conditioning which helped.

Getting around in the Amalfi coast is difficult in general, they have local buses but these can get full and overcrowded really fast. The bus to Positano stops right in front of the villa, but the bus to Sorremto stops at the base of the hill, which can be a steep walk coming back. Norman was very helpful in arranging transfer from the airport and back. Guisseppe was our chauffeur, he’s the best! Norman also arranged a boat ride for us, which was one of the best things we did this trip. |

The time of the year we were there, we had some mosquito’s that we weren’t ready for.
